OUR HISTORY

Founded in 2007 as a children's outerwear company, we have grown and evolved into a leading brand in outerwear and beyond. Over the years, we expanded into women's and men's outerwear, acquired brands like Wippette, a popular rainwear label, and embraced a series of valuable licenses, shaping the company we are today.

 

Our pivotal moment came when we acquired the iconic Members Only outerwear brand. Known for its iconic jacket, we quickly became a key player in the men’s branded outerwear space, propelling us into the spotlight.

 

Our success continued with a groundbreaking collaboration with Nickelodeon, which opened doors to additional partnerships with major brands, including Perry Ellis, Tumi, Limited Too, and Kensie Girl. These partnerships helped cement our reputation and broadened our reach in the apparel industry.

 

In the last decade, we seized the opportunity to venture into workwear with Bass Creek Outfitters, our outdoor apparel line. What began as a small collection has grown into a significant business, and the brand’s success led to the launch of our Outdoor Lifestyle division. Today, we offer a full range of outdoor products, from workwear and outerwear to flame-resistant clothing, heated apparel, sportswear, graphic tees, and safety gear.

Bass Creek Outfitters now boasts multiple licenses across categories like cold weather gear, hydration systems, backpacks, and even pet products, positioning us for continued growth in the outdoor and workwear sectors.

 

In 2024, we acquired SOUTHPOLE®, a well-established streetwear brand known for its wide-reaching appeal across both urban and suburban consumers. With 10 licensees and growing, SOUTHPOLE®, has become an exciting addition to our portfolio, offering diverse revenue streams and new opportunities.

 

As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue our upward trajectory, creating more innovative apparel and expanding our brand’s reach across new categories and markets.

Our Structure

DESIGN

Our design team loves to study fashion trends, sketch designs, select materials, and have a part in all the production aspects of their designs. All of our designers have an eye for color, texture and shape. We encourage our design team to think outside the box and take pride in their work because we know that is the only way to create a masterpiece and at iApparel Brands, only a masterpiece is acceptable.

Our sourcing & production team handles approvals and is constantly in communication with our overseas office. Our spec department manages all garment specification and technical approvals. Our Quality Assurance team that monitors all levels of production process is knowledgeable and compliant with all CPSIA regulations.

OVERSEAS

OFFICE

Our overseas office located in Nanjing, China is equipped with a sample room, an expansive fabric and trim library and a full staff of production experts handling design, sourcing and product approvals. Obsessed with quality, this team gives us control over the production process and timeline. It is a key element to our success.

COMPLIANCE

Over the years, iApparel Brands has built an honorable reputation in all of our business dealings and it is largely because we understand the importance of compliance.
